Your breath-taking, adventure begins with a relaxing private 90 minutes’ drive through the wonderful Costa Rican countryside on an air-conditioned transportation for up to 8 passengers’. Your guide will point out many sights of interest including mango, sugar and citrus plantations, diverse fruit stands and rural farming communities.

The Rainforest Aerial Tram, a thrilling gondola ride that skims the eco-friendly rainforest canopy. Your bilingual naturalist guide will narrate this amazing tour as you safely glide through a living backdrop of giant trees, hanging gardens, waterfalls and lush green landscapes. This breath-taking ride takes you across part of the 222-acre conservation park, enabling you to take in panoramic ocean views, its wildlife and many waterfalls. The gondola seats only 8 so this tour is intimate as well as exhilarating, offering many unique surprises including the occasional sighting of the spectacular Scarlet Macaw, an endangered species.

After your tram ride, you will have the opportunity to take an optional guided nature walk through the park to visit the Serpentarium and a chance to see the many brightly-colored tropical flowers in the Heliconia’s Gallery and medicinal plant garden. After the walk, a traditional Costa Rican buffet lunch, typically consisting of pasta salad, rice, beans, steamed vegetables, grilled chicken and sweet plantains will be served at the park’s delightful restaurant.

After lunch, return to the pier.

By 3 pm return to the pier.

Special Notes

Tour sequence may vary. Wildlife sightings, while common, are not guaranteed. There are 8 passengers plus a guide in each gondola. Wear comfortable, closed toe walking shoes and bring adequate sun protection. The easy optional guided walk is on a paved and flat trail. But guest could wait for the rest of the group at the cafeteria. Once participants join their tour, they will be required to complete a liability waiver.

NOTE: This service applies for manual or regular wheelchairs only. Motorized wheelchairs or scooters are not accepted due they are heavy machines and no room in the vans for it.
